I deeply thank Dr. Jan Kwasniewski for my return to health, thanks to the miraculous Optimal Diet. I had never left home in winter for the last 8 years because of weakness of my legs and a fear that I may fall.
After 4 days on Optimal Diet I walked freely without any help to the dining room on the first floor. I walked to the city centre for shopping, to a hairdresser and to concerts. I have no stomach pain and feel well. I can rest my elbows on the table which was not possible for some time.
I am so happy to be healthy again for the doctors did not give me any hope of a cure. They suggested I should live with my illness. From a grateful glowing healthy patient.

I am 37 old. I have Buerge's Disease. I had a huge ulcer on of my left leg. In November last year I came to Dr Kwasniewski with hope of being cured. I had been sick for 10 years and had no hope of recovery. Doctors in a Poznan clinic had advised that my leg should be amputated. After two weeks in Arkadia I stood on my own legs.

I am 35 years old. I have multiple sclerosis. Treatment by an outstanding specialist did not give the expected results. As my health worsened I could only drag my right leg and to take a step was not possible. I came to Arkadia on 2 February, 1988 as my last chance of recovery because of the passive medical attitude.
Dr. Jan Kwasniewski greeted me very cordially and assured me that the progress of the illness would be stopped, and further treatment at home would bring improvement. What a nice surprise when after 6 days I noticed the first symptoms of improvement. With my leg which I could only drag I could now take a few normal steps. As the days went by my improvement continued and now I can raise my leg enough to place my foot on a window sill. This is after only 10 days of treatment.
It is pity that Dr. Kwasniewsk's reputation is not more widespread. He is a hero of the twentieth century.

I have pelvic arteriosclerosis. Arteriography has shown an aortic occlusion at the level o the fourth lumbar disk. I could only walk about 150 metres when acute muscle pain would make me stop and rest. The only solution was an operation to graft the arteries of both legs. Without operation the life of such man is not long B about 2 years.
This was sentence I have received in Koszalin Hospital and I had similar opinions at Wroclaw Clinic and Szczecin Clinic. But at CiechocinekY after four days I had the courage to walk to the centre of the city. What a joy! Although walking slowly I did not have to rest. It is a pity that few only can benefit from the treatment in Ciechocinek. How much pain, tears and bitterness could be saved. The word "thank you" cannot express what I feel for you, Doctor and your personnel. Our language does not have sufficient words. How few can help so many!!!
